In the summer of 1938 Ida Münz came to the Home of the Jewish Women’s Association in Neu-Isenburg for three weeks in a group of Frankfurt holiday children. She lived with her parents, the merchant Samuel Münz and the merchant Estera Münz, née Sturm, as well as five siblings at Uhlandstraße 33.

Samuel and Estera Münz came from Poland. Since the beginning of the 1920s, Samuel Münz had been an independent textile representative. In March, 1936, he had to give up this work by reason of persecution.

On November 12, 1939, Samuel Münz was sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp. On March 25, 1942, he was murdered at the Bernburg Abattoir. His grave is located at the Frankfurt Jewish cemetery in Eckenheimer Landstraße.

Ida Münz, together with her mother and siblings Awruhom, Chaim, David and the twins Frieda and Ruth, became a victim of the National Socialist genocide. They were presumably abducted from Frankfurt. The time and the goal of the deportation are unknown.

One of Ida's aunts and two of her uncles survived the Holocaust. They lived in France and in the USA after the Second World War.
