Strothoff International School Rhein Main Campus Dreieich

The Strothoff International School, a private, all-day school in Dreieich, Frankfurt, is set to open in August 2009. The school will base its curricula on the acclaimed International Bacca-laureate Organisation’s Primary Years, Middle Years and IB Diploma-Programmes (from 3 years to about 15 years old). Initially children from kindergarten up to Grade 9 are admitted. In the next phase, it will expand to include pupils in Grade 10 and the IB’s Diploma Pro-gramme (up to 18 years old). The IB diploma is the most widely recognised entry certificate to universities worldwide. The school, founded by local businessman Hans Strothoff, has been approved by the state of Hessen. The school also benefits from guidelines on its edu-cational concept through its partnership with the SBW, the Swiss-based “House of Learning” institute founded in 1980. The school will have small classes, enabling the teachers to con-centrate on the individual learning capabilities of their 600 pupils. Excellent facilities on the school campus will further underpin the goal of providing a rounded education (www.strothoff-international-school.de).
