Neu-Isenburg in numbers
Continuous economic growth
Neu-Isenburg was one of the last settlements to be founded in the Offenbach district. Huguenots fleeing France first settled the area in 1699 and, since the dawn of industrialisation, the town has experienced more-or-less continuous economic growth.
Today, Neu-Isenburg also includes the two districts of Gravenbruch and Zeppelinheim, and is surrounded to a large extent by woodland. Thanks to its close proximity to Frankfurt am Main, its excellent transport links and its location in the Rhine/Main region between Frankfurt am Main, Offenbach am Main and Darmstadt, Neu-Isenburg has undergone constant and sustained development, which has really been driven forward in the last few years.
